      so I have been running izzy for some 3 years

      Projected video with stereo sound

      My Dilemma is i now need to run 4 chan audio

      What I know can be done.
      1.  Add tracks to video and save as a multi track project ( prem pro/ wuick time i have over 50 videos could take some time

      2. Add a couple of audio players with trigger to each scene with new audio ( i’m running 4 chan audio unit fro my mac )

      3. Or As said in manual add au players and au mixer to each scene

      Also does player see mp3 files or is it better to have wavs

      What the best for my CPU ? As well

      as usual

      Many thanks for your help

      Arthur

        I believe this is the suggested workflow for multitrack audio on Mac: https://support.troikatronix.com/support/solutions/articles/13000069104-playing-movies-with-multichannel-audio-on-macos

          @Tr742

          @DusX is right. If you're on a Mac and you need to output mulichannel audio, the way to do it is to put it into a movie. See the link he mentioned above for information on how to prepare the files.

              @markthanks once again for info. I need your help I have been running old classic players & projectors.for some 2 years  ( seems to not glitch my files) need to ask if I run old style player then add 2 audio players to scene . Will that be ok or should I program scenes with new player with 4 audio tracks embedded?

                @tr742

                I'd say try it out and see but my gut feeling is you should avoid all classic actors.

                  @Tr742

                  For sure the classic actors have the potential to cause crashes. But if it works for you, great.

                  If you add two Sound Players and trigger them at the same time to play a total of four channels, I cannot guarantee perfect synchronization. But you can try it and see if it works.
