      the thing is we can´t connect to izzy, but the kinect works with the microsoft stuff.

      so do we have to uninstall all othe kinect software, or do we need a driver which compares to the izzy actor?

      thank you,

      J.W.

        we installed kinect studio 1.7.0, which is the best for this kinect says microsoft!?

        I would uninstall that and try installing this:

        Sorry.. I may have forgotten to include the need for the SDK in the documentation.

        @DusX ???

          This may be the problem I have had. I will re-download and check everything again.

            hello.

            with link for the 1.8 sdk works everything.

            but still some questions,

            is it possible to track the state of the hands like with the kinect v2 for windows and kinect2share?

            there it is possible to detect if the hand is open or closed, and if it shows up or down.

            maybe it is not possible with the kinect v1, but if do you think it is possible to build it in?

            thanks a lot for making things more easy for us......

              edit:

              and we have to uninstall the kinect sdk 2.0 for kinect v2 for windows, bevor windows catched the right driver for the kinect 1414,

              with sdk 2.0 installed and new installed sdk 1.8, it does not work with izzy in our case. so we have to try later if the two models work togehter on on computer.

                 OpenNI has hand tracking, but I never did anything with it because I didn't think anyone would want it. ;-) (Maybe you know the old saying about assuming things... anyway...)

                I can take it under consideration to add the hand tracking into the mix. But I am more concerned by the fact you had to uninstall the Kinect v2 SDK to get it running. That's something we need to investigate. @DusX, could you add this test to your task list please?

                  thanks a lot.

                  we do nearly every kinect thing with v2 and kinect2share from r. webber.

                  it is super helpful to have open and closed hand for trigger things when work alone or with time pressure. with ofx and v2 it is very accurate and stable.

                  please put it in your list for features in open ni tracker...... .

                  thank you.

                    @mark

                    we also use the closed hand for prevent while moving arms to trigger something in our trigger zones accidently. so only when hand is closed, it is possible to trigger with zones and velocity.

                    the dual use of 1414 with izzy and v2 with other middleware on one win10 machine is a problem at the moment. we research.....

                    thx.

                      another question please.

                      is it possible to ha e a look about the motorited tilt adjustment? because in some situations we used the little bit of more up and down range for stuff lime scanning and in one case to expand the range the sensor can observe.

                      so it would be super cool to have a simple tilt input for adjust the  cam to the right angel for different stage situations. it also could be funny in a robot use case, to animate the" eyes" in any way...... .

                      thanks a lot for your attention.

                        ...sorry and the last thing for today,

                        in the software toolkit from ms for the 1414 (1.8.0) , is a very simple example where you can see from where( in degree from -90 to 90) and with what beam angle and i think how far away? or how loud a sound is. all in numbers. this coud be a very unique feature. we can't find it in any software, to easy get this data to osc or midi. also nimate can not do it, we think.

                        thanks.
