Can EpocCam see an external mic?

I'd like to upload a live-stream music performance using my phone as a webcam (via EpocCam HD) and using an external, relatively high quality mic to plug into the phone so that both the audio and video are input to the computer as a unit. Is that possible? Should I get a different app for turning the phone into a webcam? Or do I have to use my USB mic and have the audio and video input separately?

Kinoni has stopped developing epocCam which was a great phone cam input usable with Isadora by the way, so there's not much update or bug corrections, on the paper it's supposed to work with audio but I never could make it work on Mac... maybe try another soft like NDI maybe?
