I have since yesterday on both my computers a problem with the forum in Safari. I can no longer write a reply or a new thread. The window opens but I do not get a cursor and I cannot type.

am I alone with this problem?

      best

@jfg There was a forum update during the weekend. I don't use Safari myself but what I can tell is that this release of nodebb (the forum software) is 5 days old and I don't see any similar reports on the nodebb issue tracker.

Please try clearing your browser cache. If that does not help, could you please provide a screenshot of the developer console?

Emptying the cache did not help.

it is what you ask for?

Same here, it works in firefox but not in Safari. Edit window appears but no blinking cursor.

No I am not seeming to get the same errors:

I had another problem so the sockets.io error is possibly coming from this problem. The last try I made give me the same message than Michel

@jfg Okay, so this is a new error :/

I'll have to open an issue report with the nodebb team then...

I guess you can judge it better than I can but there would be an alternative to the redactor composer called quill, you can install it from the plugins in the backend: https://developer.aliyun.com/m...

We deployed a fix that resolved the issue on iPad.

Could some Safari users test again please?
