      I am using syphon screen recorder to capture a chrome window and bring it into Isadora (screen capture alpha is constantly blinking in CPU mode). When I test the path (screen capture syphon) using syphons simple client app everything is fine, however when I use Isadora to view the stream I get intermittent blinking on the stream. The really odd part is that if I have Isadora open it seems to give me blinking on the simple client app as well, when I close Isadora and leave simple client open the blinking stops.

      I have tried different websites and browsers, different framerates, nothing seems to stop it and I don't get the blinking in simple client.

      I have verified this on 2 machines, one maxed out 16"macbook pro and another 2016 13" macbook pro, both are running 10.15.7.

        @fred

        How often does it blink? I tried just using Syphoner to capture Google Chrome and had no issues with flashes or frame rate on a 2013 Mac Pro running Catalina.

          @woland it is super unpredictable, I watch it for at least a few minutes, but sometimes it will do it regularly.

            @woland here is a video of the behaviour it is not super pronounced but does not happen with the syhpon simple client app.

            First flash is at 24 seconds. It happens irregularly but always happens in the scene several times.
