      Izzy friends,

Has anyone taken a 360 live streaming feed into Isadora and output to YouTubeVR while simultaneously taking additional live streaming multi-cameras and outputting to a custom website or platform such as Twitch for audience viewing.

Thoughts? Suggested actors? Ways to creatively manipulate? Scene Structure options?

Looking to give a virtual audience the options of navigating to and from an 8 multi camera live stream and a live streaming 360 camera.

Virtual audience may access a custom built website with either options available during live performance or directly to YoutubeVR and Twitch.

      Thank you kindly!

I also am interested in this. But my first question is, what cameras gives you a 360° output that are also compatible with Isadora?

@mark my question as well. I am exploring if its even possible for a 360 cam to integrate with Isadora and output actively to YouTubeVR. The less expensive way would be to Wifi into Izzy via something like a Insta360 OneX Cam versus the more expensive route of hardwiring a teradek interface with a more expensive rig (Which is not an option).

Isn't a 360 Cam just sending a high resolution, distorted 2D picture wich is then transformed to a sphere by the player software? This would mean, Isadora is just processing the 2D highres version, which then is send to youtubeVR via OBS (YoutubeVR supports RTMP).

Sphere correction is then done by YoutubeVR and the 'surroundview' manipulation can be done by the viewers.

Different situation would be to have the possibility to 'move/look' around in Isadora itself.

Would it be possible to create a big 3D sphere for the 3D projector and feed the videostream to it as a texture? Never tried to have a 'look into an object' within Isadora, by moving the camera 'inside'.

Yes, I demonstrated this in Guru Session #5. You can download the tutorial and look at the last scene, entitled 360° Video.

This is the question since most provide semi-spherical images that need to be converted to equirectangular images to be used in Isadora.
I have spent some time looking for a shader that would do this conversion but wasn't successful, so I have only been able to use conversion software supplied with my camera. So no live feed yet.
