Multitrack Audio
-
I am trying to do a project with videos that have multitrack audio. I've been reading on the forum article about how to do multichannel audio. And have downloaded the 8 ch @bonemap provided.
Working with v3.0.8, and Dante Virtual Soundcard, I get the following output:
1 - Track1 and Track 7
2- Track 2 and Track 8
3 - Track 5
4 - Track 6
5- Track 3, Track 7, and Track 8
6- Nothing
7- Nothing
8- Nothing
Any ideas?

Could you refresh my memory and provide a link to the post that provides the 8 channel video file - I don’t appear to be able to locate it through search. It would also help to indicate your system Mac/Pc configuration.
Best wishes

Thanks for pointing to the file you are referring to. The procedure for multichannel audio associated with the MoviePlayer is under redevelopment, that is my understanding. Since the move away from Isadora’s reliance on QuickTime for the MoviePlayer, the multichannel audio and frequency bands have not provided workable option in my experience.
A suggested solution here is to extract the 8channel audio from the movie file and use it as an audio only wav file with the new multichannel audio features of Isadora 3.0.8
Best wishes
