So, I'm building a patch which will start from the same thing in every scene.

is it possible to setup an isadora project so that it automatically populates each new scene with a couple of user actors.
      Just for convenience really.

      I'm running Isadora 3 on Win10
Machine 1- AMD 1700x 8 core CPU, 32GB RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX580 GPU
Machine 2 -AMD 5900HX , 8 Core APU, 16GB Ram and an integrated GPU

I copy a scene and duplicate it over and over again if I want to do that. Cmd/Ctl-D is really fast!

        Cheers,

        Hugh

that's a good suggestion but still imperfect, if you're adding into a project that has complicated patches you're left deleting a lot of unwanted stuff.

Imperfect yes, but I assumed duplicating your "base" scene and building from there.

            Cheers,

              Hi,

The method that possibly comes closest to the concept of a 'code snippet' is a Macro. You can package your consistent patch elements into a Macro and save to assign in a Global Toolbox or Document Toolbox. It will then appear in the Tools panel and available to drop into a new scene.

              Best Wishes

This is what I do as well.

When building a show I create a "TEMPLATE" scene with everything I might need in it, then duplicate it for each Isadora Scene I need to make.
