The future of sound in Isadora?

this is a cheeky question, but I am going to ask it anyway:
Is there any chance we can have some hints about future developments with how Izzy works with sound?
I am wondering whether to buy some 3rd-party soft and hardware, and it would be good to know if there things in the pipeline that might mean that I can save my money, or spend it differently.
Sorry... I know this is annoying, but I imagine there may be others like me.
