      Hello folks.
Last night, during a rehearsal, I found something odd happening, that I eventually tracked down to a Listener. I have a scene running in the background with 3 Screen Captures running into 3 Broadcasters. Throughout a series of scenes, I grab the video feeds with Listeners.
In one scene, the video was coming out of the Listener, into a bunch of actors, and then being used as a mask in the Alpha Mask - but it had stopped masking. I rebooted Izzy - still not masking. I rebooted my Mac - still not masking. I replaced the Alpha Mask with an Effect Mixer - no effect from that particular channel. I deleted the Actors one by one until I replaced the Listener and then it was fine. Hover previews had been showing the video feed was getting from the Listener all the way to the Alpha Mask, but it was the Listener that was glitching.
Has anybody experienced something like this? If it happens again when I have more time, I will do a screen recording and a proper bug report.

      Best Wishes,
      john

You might be running into the same thing that's discussed in this thread; Broadcasters don't send new data to Listeners unless the Broadcaster receives new data, so if you have a static video feed (like a Picture Player or Screen Capture of a screen that's not changing) the Broadcaster won't be sending anything to Listeners in future Scenes.

Hi Lucas - but this time the screen was constantly changing. and I could see the video moving when hover-previewing, but nothing was coming out the other end of the pipeline....

Can post the patch or give a screenshot? It's hard to diagnose just from the information you've given so far.
