[ANSWERED] Multiple projectors, same input- different images

Hello, basic question here. I have 1 computer outputting an image into a multi-port HDMI splitter that then projects onto 6 projectors. Is there a way to project different images onto each projector? Is it possible to get my computer/Isadora to recognize all 6 projectors independently?

Hi,
The characteristics of many HDMI Splitters is to split the signal from a single source device to facilitate simultaneous connection to multiple displays. The output signal will be an exact clone of the original. Also, each HDMI Splitter features an integrated signal amplifier to ensure the longest transmission distance possible.
Therefore, it is unlikely that a device identified as 'splitter' will facilitate discrete video signals on the simultaneous displays.

If it is truly just a splitter then no because individual addressing of displays is not possible with a splitter. The reason is that, when a splitter is plugged into your computer, the only "display" your computer will see is the splitter itself (which will show up and be treated as a single display). Whatever your computer sends to the splitter, the splitter will then send to all the displays connected to it, so individual control of the displays connected to the splitter is not possible.

depending on your projectors, it could be possible to select just a part of the image send to them. This way you could crop the picture on each projector to the needed part. But this would result in a quality loss, as only the slice of the full picture would be used.
