[SOLVED in Isadora 3.2.1] Crashes Because of Value Delay Line Actor Using Strings
-
Hi I have upgraded to Izzy 3.2 and deselected the Rosetta info box but every time I try to open it crashes.
I have deleted the preferences as advised but this has made no difference?
Thanks, David

Please open a support ticket (links are in my signature). This is the first report of a startup issue on M1, so we will need to investigate.

I have re-opened your support ticket, please reply to my latest response.

To provide details to anyone reading this thread.
The M1 / ARM crash was due to a patch using many Value Delay Line actors with Text type inputs. This was a known issue and was fixed in Isadora 3.2.1
See the Release notes for details. In short, there was an initialization issue with inputs mutated to Text. -
This thread went pretty far afield from the actual problem, with many of the exchanges focused on OpenNI Tracker when the actual issue had nothing to do with that plugin. So, for the benefit of any reading this in the future, I have removed all but the first and last posts so that the initial problem statement and the solution remains.
I've also changed the generic subject line "ARM 3.2 Crashes" to "Crashes Because of Value Delay Line Actor Using Strings" so that people will immediately know what the source of the problem was.
Best Wishes,
Mark
