      Hi,

It's been almost a year since I moved to Isadora from VDMX. Still learning, getting used to it but Artnet is yet a huge mistery for me.

I’ve been using ArtNet on VDMX and It was pretty simple and easy. But in Isadora, it’s a bit too complicated for me since I have zero base knowledge for Artnet.

I’ve searched forum and google but it seems like everybody already knows how like it’s obvious. So frustrating..

I think I managed to figure out how to send the data to a specific channel but when I monitor it with ArtNetView, I see the signals flickering so fast. It doesn’t even make my lights blink.

Is there any simple basic tutorials or anybody enlighten this poor newbie? 😭

      Thank you!

Turned out VDMX was conflicting Isadora's outcoming signals when they were running simultaneously. It all works now!

I'm glad you got it up and running. My DMX-related experience is quite limited: started with a small, cheap (the bad kind of cheap) USB dongle, then ENTTEC Open DMX USB, and finally ENTTEC DMX Pro USB. The first two were frustrating and I ultimately failed to get them to function, but the ENTTEC DMX Pro USB worked right out of the gate using the DX - DMX Universe User Actor.

It's been a load of fun exploring what I can do with it.

          Best,

          Chad
