Content in scenes dissapears
-
Hello friends
I am working on a patch for performance and when I send it to my colleague.
All the scenes in the file dissapeapr on their laptop.
There are all the Scenes but it shows no content. This never happened to me before and to be honest I am stuch with solutions.
Did it every happen to you before?
I was also going to ask for some help to see if the workflow am using can be improved since am using around 20 clips of videos at the same time but maybe we can discuss that later. For now I am just curious if you get content when you open the file.
thanks so very much
all the best

Hi there!
I can open the file just fine in Isadora 3.2.1x on Windows 10. And regarding your question, no it has never happened to me before.

Did you send the media along with the patch? If you don't send the media files with the patch, then Isadora has no media to put in your Scenes and the output will be blank.
Best wishes,

Hello yes of course I did.
The problem is not the media.
The content as in the patches inside the CUES does not appear on the other side.
I also tried it on several of my machines and it works.
It is just super strange that this is happening and I do not have a solution for this poor soul.
Thanks

What are the specs of the problem computer?

For what it's worth, I just tried opening it on 3.2.1 on Windows 10 and (aside from no media content) all the cues (up to Cue 20) had actors in them.
What's your OS? Are you using the latest version?
Cheers,
Hugh

@wolandI will try to get hold of them.
However, I asked them to change the laptop and the problem was solved instantly. As soon as I get the specs I will let you know.
