As Isadora total novice I'm starting the exploration of body tracking features looking at this video

Noticed is using in the setup a "Live videos or movies" actor I didn't find in Isadora, someone can kindly guide me how to add to my setup.

Hi, it's unclear which ones you are referring to. Do you mean the "Video In Watcher" and the "Movie Player"?

        Cheers,

At 11:59 the far left block is the one I'm referring to, I suppose is used to capture the live video streaming from the laptop integrated camera that's what I'm needing to start experimenting.

A few seconds before that - @11.47 - there is an explanation of it which says that it's a user actor.

I'd expect to find that at the session materials link, but that doesn't work...

I expect that what he's done is wrapped a video in watcher and a movie player into a user actor for the sake of ease. Try the first if you want to use a live input and the second if you want to use a movie, as he is doing.

            Cheers,

            Hugh

              Hi there!
This is an custom user actor that Mark made to switch between two video inputs. One is an Movie Player, the other is an Live camera source.

Let us know or that solves your question :)

Okay, so strange. When I went back to check today, it did just that. Ugh.

                      Cheers,
