      Hi,

does anyone USB ever used a digital handheld Microscope as USB camera in interfacing with Isadora? Could Isadora recognize the microscope as simple usb external camera, or know any issues about compatibility with mac os? Any suggestion/advice about your experiences will be welcome!

      cheers

It really depends on how the computer itself exposes the microscope to software. If the computer reads the microscope as a webcam, then we can probably see it. If the microscope has some sort of propriatary nonsense and is only reconized by/exposed to its own, specialized software as a video input device, we likely can't see it. Best way to find out is to install Isadora on a computer and plug in one of these microscopes to see if it shows up in Live Capture. You don't need an Isadora license to test this, all of Isadora's features work without a license in demo mode; you just need to get your hands on one of these microscopes to test it.

        Best wishes,

        Woland

            Hi,

I can chime in to this as I use a USB microscope with Isadora. I have had no problem with the camera being recognised by the Live Capture Settings...

            Best Wishes
