Somi-1 thoughts?

Hi all, 

I just wondered if anyone has one of the Somi-1 devices (https://instrumentsofthings.co..., essentially midi motion sensors & receiver), and if so what do you think of it? I'm currently considering whether it's a useful purchase.

Because it can connect to DAWs, I'm guessing we could get the motion data into Isadora through midi which could offer some exciting additional possibilities... I think I'm now persuading myself to get one to try it out, but if anyone has any thoughts or experience with it, please let me know! Or are there alternatives out there?

 If you can receive the MIDI in a DAW it will be straightforward to get the MIDI in Isadora. 
I haven't seen any alternatives to this device. You could make your own, but it would be difficult to match the size of these devices.
