Hi Forum - further to the info in Guru Session no17. and the WerkStatt 2016 IR tracking video, can anybody kindly advise if there is any hard and fast rule about 'when' to make the screen grab on the Freeze actor? For example, if a theatre show has 30 different lighting states that vary in intensity from each lighting state - is it therefore necessary (or advisable) to screen grab for each new lighting state or simply make one grab at the beginning of the show for all the different lighting states? Does that make sense?

Lighting will make a difference, and will most likely require a specific grab for each state to get a clean subtraction.

If you can do the Freeze method with the IR feed from a depth camera like a Kinect then you don't need to worry about what the lighting state is.
