      Hi,

I'm trying to display my scene to my second screen (a computer monitor). I configured my Windows laptop as follows:

      Extend these displays

      1 is my main display

      2 is my extra monitor

In Isadora, I'm still learning, just started following their tutorials on the Youtube channel. I'm following all the steps, but unfortunatly something doesn't work right.

I've loaded a simple mp4. On the projector actor stage is set to '1'. When I go to stage setup it automatically set up this:

      Stage 1 Display 2

I can see the video on the screen with '2' in the middle.

When I click on 'Show stages' I get a warning saying the video will be shown only to display 1... and it does...

Can someone help me?? I don't understand what is going wrong here!

      thanks in advance,

      Maartje

First, since you're on a windows laptop, go through this article: https://support.troikatronix.com/support/solutions/articles/13000064926

Second, make sure that you are extending the displays (treating them as different displays that can show different things) instead of duplicating (mirroring the same thing onto all the displays). Follow the instructions for Windows 10 at this link.

Third, could you send two screenshots of your Stage Setup in Isadora that are equivalent to these:

This second one you get by pressing the "Show Display Overview" at the top right of Stage Setup.

          Hi Woland!

Thank you so much for your help. Now this is even weirder. At first, when it didn't work proparly, my settings looked the same like your screen captures.

I than changed the Nvidia settings like in one of your links and now it looks like this..but it works.. the video is now displayed at the right screen..haha

          so it's weird...but it works!!

          Thanks a lot!!

          best wishes,

          Maartje
