iOS Skeleton Tracking App with OSC - **FREE** Until May 5th
-
Dear All,
While I haven't made a proper test yet, this new Skeleton tracking app for iPhone + iPad might be of interest to many here. It sends OSC so that definitely means it can be interfaced to Isadora.
Note that it does not need the special depth cameras on the iPad; it immediately recognized a skeleton on my iPhone SE 2020.
You can find the app on Apple's AppStore.
I will try to whip up a test patch this afternoon.
Best Wishes,

It's working really well for me, this really exciting. I'm definitely going to use this for an orchestra project I have coming up in June. I learn something new and amazing every time I come here. Thank you!

Here's the Live Drawing patch from our Rokoko + Depth Tracking "Guru Sessions" adapted for the iKeleton OSC app.
To get iKeleton OSC working with this patch, you need to go into the iKeleton OSC settings. There you should:
- Set the IP Address to the IP address of the computer running Isadora (you can see find the IP address by opening the Isadora Preferences and looking at the bottom of the dialog box).
- Set the port to 1234, the default IP port number used by Isadora.

Thanks a lot Mark. I have tried with my old iPhone 7 and it works very well.

Being lazy, I'm wondering if this works on an M1 laptop? Downloading now on my iPhone... thanks for making the patch!

It is iOS only because the underlying toolkit -- Apple's ARKit -- is iOS only.
