[SOLVED] Unable to download USB Key Driver
-
Unable to download USB Key driver!! Am in Tech and can't install Isadora right now!!
Does anyone have a link to it they can share with me!
Getting the following strange message:
-
This is my system set up - sig is old:
-
It seems to be an issue at the drivers provider thales. I do get the same error on several devices and networks.
I do not have the file at the moment, but maybe some one else can provide and (unofficialy) send you the drivers file via some file exchange. -
I hope so, I am sitting in tech right now unable to program at all. :(
-
might be not to satisfactory, but if it's urgent, there is a 7day subscription option, for a couple of dollars available. No USB nor drivers needed.
-
This may be my best option to salvage this eve - Thank you for the idea
-
I was able to move my personal license onto this show computer - so I'm going to be able to salvage what's left of this evening's tech. . . . but will still need to get the USB key driver working again ASAP.

I just tested and the download link on the Thales website now works again. Judging by the message they showed you they must have been spammed recently and, unfortunately, we have no control over or say in changes they make to their website.

Thank you for the heads up! Got a nice email from someone in support too this morning.
Best,
Alex -
Just made it back to the the theatre - and the download is busted again!
-
Luckily I grabbed them when they worked for me: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/73f94j95qke5248vwi2u7/h?rlkey=3qyhpo8jui3mdj9gb0km1r0u2&dl=0

I have sent the following message to Thales customer support.
I will let you know what I find out.

SUBJECT: SPORADIC "HIGH NUMBER OF DOWNLOADS" ERROR - END-USERS CAN'T DOWNLOAD DRIVERSOn the page at https://supportportal.thalesgr... when you click the link DOW0003350, some of our end users and multiple members of our team have received the following message.
"We have detected a high number of downloads in the last 24 hours. As a security measure, we have disabled your account. Please contact Thales Customer Support for assistance. You may reach us via the "Contact Us" link on the Support Portal home page, or the "Need Help With Login" link on the Login Page."
Our software is used for live theater, and the customer in question had an urgent need to install the USB Key Driver on a new machine. The problem was extremely frustrating for him.
This behavior has bene observed on both macOS and Windows operating systems and on a variety of browsers. The most frustrating thing about this error is that it is sporadic. For me personally, it never happened. But definitely did happen numerous times as the panicked user and our team as they attempted to get download the driver so he fully enable our software for his show.
Please look into this issue as soon as possible that our customers do not have to endure further frustration.
Sincerely,
Mark Coniglio -
Of cause I don't know about the license agreements. But maybe you can ask thales, if you might keep a mirror on your download page?
-
Yes, I asked them before about this, and they said "no"... but I will ask again. (Have you seen the ridiculously long EULA [pages and pages to scroll through] they make users agree to before downloading? I guess it's because they are a security company, but it shows that they are extremely cautious which is why they said "no" previously to my request.)
Sincerely,
Mark -
