[ANSWERED] Reliable Mac OS versions ?

Hi ,

I am just about to do some OS updating (or contemplating it) prior to a round of live shows forthcoming.

I could not help but notice that a number of the hardcore IZZ crew are still running versions of OS10 as per their signatures.

My No1 rig can stay on OS12 where it currently sits reliably until the new Mac Studio M3 machines appear soon(ish) hopefully.

But I am intrigued what and why 10 should appear so common on users (i trust) signatures.

Any thoughts or comments appreciated.

I rely heavily on Glover software and Leap Motion 2 in this forthcoming set of shows.

I would personally not trust signatures, it is not something that our users are keeping up dated at all times.

I would look into the latest software that your dependencies support; so what is the latest OS that Glover Software works on, what is the latest version of Leap Motion 2 that works, and determine the version of your OS based on those parameters.

@timeg I am on almost the laters Sonoma on an M1 MAX (never the latest) and as far as today I don't have problems.
