MoviePlayer position In and Output
-
Does anybody else experience this. Changing the position input to any number doesn't output the same number in the movie player. See attached images. Versions tested 1.3.0f24 and f25.

Same here, however at a guess, is the output number simply rounding to nearest frame???

Never spotted this before.

I spotted this because I used the position output to trigger an arduino that triggered a panasonic mixer via gpio port.
The visitors of the museum of design in Zurich can stand in front of a green screen and the live cam feed plus the Izzy output get mixed in the panasonic mixer. Now the live camera has to be switch active or inactive on the panasonic mixer at a exact position of the movie. So it was important to know the exact position, thats why I noticed it.@Lanz
I have made a "frame by frame" user actor, this calculates how many frames the movie has and then shows exactly what the position value of one frame is. With every click on the arrow left or right moves the position of the movie one frame back or forth. So it actually should input the proper position value for each frame. Except when you use the position offset.See attached file
