      Hi all,

I am a TA for an introductory Isadora class and we have been having issues with students not being able to adjust the horizontal and vertical position of any photo or video file.

Every students that’s having this issue has a windows machine (varies from Dell to Asus), and some have Isadora 3 and some have Isadora 4. I am not familiar with windows machines, as I am a Mac user, and I’ve just upgraded to Isadora 4 so any help would be greatly appreciated!

If this has been asked/solved somewhere else, please let me know.

      Thank you!

        Hi!

Could you let us know which actors you are using? I assume you are talking about a Picture player that you connected to a Projector actor?

          Hi!

We've noticed the issue with Text/ure, picture player, and movie player when they were connected to a projector actor. There are probably more but those are the ones we were working with today.

Highly recommend that you don't use the Text/ure, as it's a CPU actor. Instead use one of the GPU Text actors.

You can't actually adjust the vertical/horizontal positions in the other actors you mention, but you can do it in the projector actor if you have a fairly simple patch. You can also use the PanSpinZoom or Panner actors which are more flaxable in a complex patch.

            Cheers,
