      Greetings,

I wanted to just get a little clarification that I should be using HAP .avi files on Windows machines with Isadora. I used to HAP .mov, but had read some articles and posts about the HAP .avi and now have switched to that. I haven't had any issues, I just want to be doing things the most efficient way. Appreciate some insight. I typically export in an uncompressed format and then perform my final conversion using ffmpeg.

      Thank you!

Both work well for me. And often it is easier to make .mov files. (if you are using ffmpeg or shutterencoder to transcode to .avi watch that your framerate remains consistent.. there is/was a known bug).
One up side of AVI on windows is that you can have thumbnails in explorer (easily) it seems like a little thing, but really is helpful.
I use ShutterEncoder to transcode my archive footage to HAP, for me this has worked well.
