      Hello Troikatronix Team,

Thank you for version 4 . . . enjoying the new features.

One issue I'm having with the upgrade:

      - I use the 'artnet receive' in a user actor to control my theatre lighting. In V3, I could use an 'User Input' to specific which channels to listen to. With V4, the 'channels' input no longer accepts an input from the 'User Input' (even if it's changed to a text input).

Since I am using one user actor to control a bunch of different lights, it was great to be able to specify which channels to listen to from outside the user actor. Is there any way for me to set the 'channels' on the 'artnet receive' from outside the user actor?

Thank you for any suggestions you might have.

      Sincerely,

      William

This change was made to avoid a situation where the range of channels being input dynamically would break many setups. Since changing this input changes the actual number of outputs, there is no way to dynamically connect these outputs if new ones are added, and if the number is made less the connections which were made are lost.
This approach of limiting the dynamic input of parameters that change the Input and Output count of actors was made throughout the software, and helped to address a few reported issues/bugs.

How were you using the chan # outputs?

Perhaps this is a case where a macro might be better suited since you can have different settings in each copy.
