      Hi

I'm busy designing the controls for the show I'm working on. There may be a line-of-sight issue for the Isadora operator, so I've included a Stage Preview actor. It displays a single frame, and does not refresh regardless of the FPS refresh rate I choose. I'm using two CI projectors on a single stage.
      Thanks
      Anthony

It works fine for me on 1.3f24 and also 1.3f25, but I have OS X 10.8.2 so I can't check it on 10.6. Did you try it with 1.3f25?

        Best,
        Michel

I haven't upgraded to f25 yet. The Monitor controller does work, but I'll need to set up a video mixing system to create a single feed for the monitor, because this project used layer switching and compositing between the projectors. It's not a priority, so I'll finish the setup then try upgrading to f25 to see if that fixes it.

          Thanks for checking!

Ok, I installed f25. The stage preview refreshes now, but I'm experiencing video playback issues and full crashes all the time now that I've upgraded. Threaded playback is off. The stage preview controller is displaying a very small, pixelated video. I am only using two videos in the bin (it will ultimately contain around 20 videos) and am switching between those through a bin picker. If I preload the videos, Isadora crashes as soon as I click on a bin picker thumbnail. If I don't preload them, there's no crash....

Yup, this seems to be a real problem in this project. Preloading videos, then triggering them in a CI Movie Player via a video bin picker results in a crash. I've been toying with other connection/routing options and the only consistent element that leads to a crash is the preloading. I should probably revert to f24. Is that just a matter of uninstalling, then reinstalling?

You don't have to uninstall, just install version 1.3f24 again. As long as you did not rename the Isadora folder the old or in this case the newer version will get over writte. If you rename the Isadora folder the Izzy installation will create a new folder called Isadora. That way you can have multiple Izzy versions. But you have to be aware what version opens if you click and existing patch.
