      I am making some very large Control Panels..
      It would be amazingly helpful related panels could be tied together into tabbed groups.

          OK, I am thinking of a UI element that is a panel with tabs. You would be able to select the number of panels. In edit mode you could activate a tab, and add other control panel elements to the tab. Select another tab and get a black panel again.. then create another control interface.
          When not in edit mode, you simple can click the tabs to switch between control interfaces. Image an control panel with sliders for a number of params for a number of 3D rect projectors (lots of params), no imagine that each is in its own tab.
          Nice and clean, one tab for each projectors controls.
          Save space and logically group things.

              For me it would be major. Although I am near out of control IDs so I can't add much more soon anyway.
              However a UI refactoring would make things cleaner and more intuitive.
              Also currently I need to scroll to see some UI features.. this can be difficult, especially if I am taxing the system at the time.
              I wonder if a performance boost would be possible if 'hidden' controls didn't need to be updated?

                  It's not exactly what you are asking for and I see the advantage of your suggestion, so please submit a feature request, but in case you don't know, if you klick inbeetween two scenes you see a blinking cursor then right click and press split control panel. You can do this for every scene and this way you have an own control panel for each scene.

                  Best

                    @Michel
                    It has the potential to help, however I haven't been able to move between scenes while keeping the previous one active.
                    I think Tabs would be great. but also, if we could 'jump' between the active scenes control panels with out interrupting the playback in anyway.
                    correct me if I am wrong but currently if you activate secondary scenes, and want to jump to them to see the control panel your current scene you are jumping from is shut off via the jump.
                    Having the freedom to bounce between the active scenes Control panels freely would open things up immensely.

                      Yes its true what you say.
                      It's not really an alternative to what you have asked for but I thought in some cases it can help.

                      Best,
