Capture to Disk Movie Playback Issue

I am experiencing difficulty getting movie files to playback in subsequent scenes using Capture 2 Disk actor. The files are visible on the desktop, but the projector and movie player remain black and don't see the files once they are available. The C2D actor works fine, and I'm simply live capturing and then jumping to another scene where I accumulate movies creating a quartet from my solo work. Movie player is not picking up the files once they are recorded. After combing through old and new forum, I couldn't find a solution. Any suggestions?
I am on a Macbook pro Mid 2009, Using Isadora version 1.3.0f24 usb key, and simply using the isight built it.
