Isadora 1.3.0f25
-
I just downloaded release 32 and during installation I got a message telling me that I am trying to install on a disk containing a newer version of Isadora. Currently I am running release 26. What should I do? I am not in a hurry to have release 32. I just like to stay current. Thanks for your advice.

I renamed my current folder to "Iasdora Old" and then installed 32. It then creates a new "Isadora" folder.
Then you are keeping both versions. It won't effect your license. -
same message here, but as graham says, rename the old folder and a new one will be created.

3D Renderer – More Options: The following actors can now be rendered using the 3D Renderer actor: 3D Particles, 3D Model Particles, 3D Line, 3D Displaced Surface, 3D Mosaic
I can't see this in the new version... is this an error? Thanks. -
Thanks Skulpture & Michel.
I did it. I got the same warning message, but continued with the install and a new folder was created and version 32 is working.Thanks. -
Dear Graham,
Each of the 3D actors you mention has a new 'destination' input, which can be set to 'stage' or 'renderer' -- I don't think it's a mistake. Is It? Do you see those inputs?Best Wishes,Mark -
I can't see any of the purple text 3D actors in my toolbox.
-
Oops! Graham, you're right. Will fix that. ;-)
-
Mark,
The matrix receive changes are great. At first look seems to fix the serial crash issue I've been having.
thanks

Cool thanks. -
It seems the link to the windows version is broken.
-
@Mark
Looking at the release notes, seems that under: Known Limitations
There is an entry for the windows record audio to disk error, if I am not mistaken, this is listed as fixed earlier in the doc.PS: I am looking at a one version earlier doc.. so maybe you fixed it.

I don't see the purple actors in the Windows version. Should they be there?
-
Dear All,
The "purple" actors aren't in either version. I didn't include them yet. Will get them out in a coming release. (I need to test them a bit further...)Best Wishes,Mark -
I think they should now be referred to as the "purple actors" in the next release :-)
-
Ha ha... well, if I would actually add the "color the actors" feature it could be. ;-)
Ciao!M -
haha... they could be purple by default as a homage to my amazing description skills!
