      Hi,
I'm trying to hook up my Sony EX1 to isadora via a firewire cable but isadora only seems to accept DV CAM from my camera. is there a solution to this?
      thanks

To my knowledge firewire will allow DV format only(nothing to do with Isadora) that is not the best solution for live video. Your mac is most likely too slow for HD video anyway. HD may be 4-6 times larger than standard DV.

Take the hdsdi via a capture card, a great feature if the ex1.

The reason why it don't work and a solution to how it might - perfect
vanakaru, I'm thinking of using a better spek mac for the show, but your right even SD is lagging - just holding out for the new MacBook Pro's to come out.
