Unable to find syphon actors in v1.3.1f06

I've just installed IsadoraCore v1.3.1f06 in order to try some things with the new Syphon actors, but I'm unable to find them.

I'm searching for name like "Syphon To Video", "Syphon Stage Output"...

How can I add them ?

I've done some more tries and I can find them when I remove my registration file.

What's wrong with this file ? Do I have to re-register ?

I'm on Mac 10.8.5.

And a lot of other actors seems to disappear with my registration file, but I can't understand why...

Really? Weird. I think this might be a question for @Mark.

You shouldn't need to register again - if you can go to 'file> save as' then its registered as normal.

What actors are missing exactly? (sorry for basic questions just trying to get a good understanding)

Do you have the Core Video Upgrade purchased. If not, that would explain why a lot of actors disappear when you register

I've purchased it, but I'm not sure that it's been registered... (when I bought it, I was planning to reinstall my computer from scratch, what I haven't done finally).

How can I see which license is active ? (In the "Edit" menu, "Register" item is disactivated).

I hadn't so I tried to re-register and now I have them and Syphon actors have appeared. Thanks !

But I can't explain why I didn't see Syphon actors before to register again.

I've never heard of that before @jgastonraoul.

I've had a good think and it can only really be an admin/user folder issue. Or a very random glitch when you installed Isadora? Who knows...

I'm encountering the same problem.Since I had previous not core upgraded version of isadora,i'm trying to check if it's a registration problem,but i don't know how to check that!!

@jagastonraoul i would like to register again,but since the register item is disactivated how did you solve that??

Hello All,

Here's the deal: in the current pre-release version, the Syphon actors show up _only_ if you have purchased the Core Video upgrade. This is a mistake that will be fixed. If you have purchased the Core Video upgrade and need to re-register, you need to follow the instructions you received in your upgrade email:

_To re-register you must first delete the registration file. Use the list below to find the location of the registration file on your computer and delete it._

_ Macintosh: /Users/Shared_

_ Windows 7 or Vista: C:\ProgramData\TroikaTronix_

_ Windows XP: C:\Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\TroikaTronix_

_Once you've deleted the file, run Isadora and choose Edit > Registration to re-register._

If you don't have the Core Video upgrade, then for the moment you're out of luck. I will be able to publish the latest pre-release this coming week and then everyone will get access to the Syphon actors. I'm sorry for the mistake and any confusion it caused.

Yes, I too can see no CI actors, but my question is, will it affect my show if I re-register?

Dear Joe,

Re-registering will help only if you have purchased the Core Video upgrade. If you do not have that upgrade, you won't see the Syphon actors in 1.3.1f06\. I'm rushing to get a new pre-release done so that this problem will be solved. If your need is very urgent, email me privately and I can get something to you.
