Isadora Creative Space - Berlin

P.S. I'm sorry for the short duration between confirming the space and the actual event. We're working on the December and January dates now, so you'll all have plenty of warning.

Cool! Booked the flight and hotel. If there is someone about 17:00 coming near the airport berlin tegel or another central point and would be so kind to take me with the car, that would be great.
Looking forward,Alex -
Dear Alex,
It's a pretty quick trip from Tegel to the space.http://www.bvg.de/index.php/en/index.htmlYou want to go from Flughafen Tegel to Uferstr 8.Best Wishes,Mark -

Sorry I can't make it either. Busy at work and my wife is also recovering from surgery at the minute.
Hope it goes well and I will try and make the next one :) -
Dear Mark,
As you mentioned to post ideas for your talk: I would be interested how you see the role/possiblities of Interactivity and Isadora in the past, now and the future. All the best,Alex -
Hello,

Inspired by the workshop: made in Isadora with Granular AU http://argotlunar.info

I attended the meeting on the 4th Nov and I have to say it was extremely interesting and very useful. Rather than veering towards a solely Isadora problem-solving session, it embraced an excellent and enlightening discussion on interactivity in the performaning arts and other topics. The question of motion tracking was addressed with some interesting conceptual ideas on what is it you really want to track. I work with interactive dance and have more of an emphasis on sound design emanating from movement - with an emphasis on rhythm extraction (where exactly is the rhythm in the dance?!). Mark's expertise and experience in the performing arts is a very valuable asset to this forum!! Thanks Mark!
Overall, it was very fulfilling and I will hopefully return to Berlin for the next meeting. (I could potentially host a meeting here in Bremen if needed).
My main areas of focus are: Interactive Dance, Live Generative Visuals, Sound Design & Composition (all done with MAX/MSP). If anyone needs some support with live interactive performance, generative visuals or interactive composition, I would be happy to be involved..... :)
Have fun!
Aidan
