Isadora Creative Space - January 20th - 7pm (Berlin)
-
Dear All,
I've been extraordinarily busy working on Isadora, so I'm sorry for the late announcement. But we will pick up the Isadora Creative Space on Monday January 20th, 2014 at 8pm.Following on our previous meeting, where people expressed a strong desire to discuss artistic issues, I am suggesting this theme for the meeting: "why is interactivity important?"To energize this discussion, I would ask that everyone come prepared with a link or video that shows two polarities: the most compelling piece of interactive performance you've seen, and an example where the interactivity was not meaningful or took away from the performance. It would be great if you could say a few words to explain your point of view. The point of this meeting is to consider where we are as 21st century artists who champion media, and to reflect on the meaning of real-time interactivity at this moment in history. The meeting will take place at the Alte Kantine (http://alte-kantine-wedding.de/kontakt/)**Alte Kantine Wedding****Uferhallen Kulturwerkstatt Uferstrasse 8-11 13357 Berlin****Monday January 20th - 7pm - 12pm**It's a little confusing (especially at night) to find your way once you reach the main address. Please refer to the attached image so you'll know where to go.See you there,Mark -

Dear All,
I don't know, given what I've got on my plate, that I can organize a video conference this time. I will look into this for the next event.Best Wishes,Mark -
thanks for all that you do!

Great! Looking forward.

i"m interested to see the outcome of the discussion, if only at the base level of those videos that inspire and the examples of less inspiring. i wonder if discussing the less inspiring ones will be more prosuctive to a route of understanding about interactivity than the others....

of the inspiring works, i"d be intrested to find out if through your discussions in berlin are there any commonalities
