I have a set up of 6 speakers and one track plays. However, I only want the sound to come out of 1 speaker at a time. Any ideas or tips? I am using the sound movie player for this at the moment.

If you are on Windows you do not have this control in Isadora, I am not sure if with the the core audio addons on Mac you have this type of control.
You could however use a dedicated audio program that supports multichannel audio out, and control it via Midi or OSC

@nou72: are you using a Mac? If so I can post some instructions that will help. If you are using a multi-channel sound card, these instructions should help

What are you using the play the sound? The Sound Movie Player or the Sound Player?
