I recently viewed a DVD from our local library " American Film TreasuresIV Avant Garde 1947-1986"

Lots of interesting things, and in particular "7362" by Pat O'Niell in 1967 is pretty amazing, considering it's all done on film. Some dancing included, and might possibly be NSFW.
