      I do not know if this is the right place to post question about QC but I am quite used with this forum and I think I can find some help here.

      I am trying to achieve Merge Path effect as it is shown in the picture below. 

      So basically if two white cubes will move in the opposite direction and when they are in front of each other they will get black colour. Is there any plugin that will make it easier to achieve this, or how can I achieve without plugins.

        try mixing using the 'effect mixer'

        using the 'xor' mode, I was able to get the effect you outlined..... it required a 'Video inverter' so maybe you can improve on it a bit, but that will get you started.
