I could not reply to a question posted but here is a solution for windows

I use this to stream from IPWebcam on Android straight into Isadora. It states it works with other mjpeg streams.

VLC should also be able to capture the stream and send it to a virtual camera. but in my preliminary test there was a noticeable lag and did not bother adjusting the buffer

P.S.: and ipwebcam can also interact with tasker and tasker now YUP!!!!
