[FORUM Prob] ever increasing page width when creating new discussion
-
Morning all... On iPad Retina, latest iOS/Safari, hitting 'new discussion' on forum loads the new post page presumably in a frame to provide the header... something goes on with the page width, which constantly increases, causing the viewport to constantly grow and the UI to get constantly smaller. Makes it very difficult to post! Tap and hold on 'new discussion' and open in new tab opens the new post page on it's own rather than as a subframe. This is my temporary work around.

I changed a few settings in the css, can you check if it is still the same? Please close the window first and then re-call the site again.

Nope - no change I'm afraid... still the same!

I'm having trouble posting to topics - although logged when going to some topics I get howdy stranger, rather than my name. Try to sign in again and sometimes get wrong password, but trying again with the same auto filled password works, but takes me to my account home page (my name appears there, and Page not found in the central area.
Go back to main page of forum shows me logged in with name, but same issue posting. Was able to post to one discussion, but this one http://troikatronix.com/community/#/discussion/1857/2-05-behaviournot possible. Tried on two versions of Mac - 10.7 and 10.10, same results on both -

Dear @Marci
Could you give me some feedback so I know if this is fixed for your?
Thank you.

Kind of... The master frame no longer increases in width / viewport size is fixed, but the subframe for the new post still grows in width. It's certainly usable now without fudging it into a new tab, but technically there's still an issue.

Ok, thank you @Marci. Lets wait until the main website gets updated (it then will be responsive) the one right know is not but the forum is and I think thats the main thing causing these issues. If it then still has issues I will investigate further.
Thank you for your input.
