Re-instate "Replace Media" option in Media Viewer
-
Hello,
Back in version 1, I used the "Replace Media" option frequently to update media already in patches. It was quick, and had the advantage that I didn't have to track the change through all my patches, and kept my media viewer less cluttered. Would it be possible to get this feature back>
Love the changes in 2. It really makes life easier.

I will add this as a bug, so that Mark can look at adding it back.

Dear @newsound,I'm not sure why it's not appearing in the menu. We'll get that fixed. But, it's still there. Just double-click the item you want to replace.Best Wishes,Mark -
DoubleClick... didn't know that :)
-
Neither did I haha.
-
That makes 3 of us that didn't know! At least I'm in good company.
Thanks Mark!

How could it be that you all didn't know this? On page 73 of the manual it clearly states
_**To replace the file associated with a media reference:**__**• Double-click the media reference (it is OK if the reference is currently ).**_You mean you didn't read _the manual _?!?!?!?Oh the humanity. ;-) ;-) ;-)Best Wishes,Mark -
Sorry chief - even the Guru's miss the odd shortcut :-p

Haha... yes, I know; I was just poking a bit of fun since I know very well that people don't really read the manual. ;-) (Not even me once I'm done writing it!)
-
Sadly I can say I have read it cover to cover more than once and still missed a number of things...
