Lanbox LCX and Isa
-
Hi, long, long time ago I was able to control lights within Isadora using Lanbox LCX connected to a dimmer pack. I am working in an research institute for theater makers (DasArts Master) now and therefore I want to pick it up again. but I lost the patch with the basics which tells which actors to use. I am using a Macbook Pro OSX 10.7.5 (Core i7).
I tried to use the Lanbox Channel Actor: it has the Lanbox IP address 192.168.1.77 and the udp port has value 4777\. Are there more actors I have to use?Sorry for this standard and low technical issue, but I was not able to find proper information elsewhere to solve this. Thanks in advance. -

Thanks a lot, Michel. I don't remember though I used these kind of actors at that time but I will look into it and see if I can find out how it works.

Well, I tried but Isadora is freezing a.s.a. I choose (after enabling serial ports) within port 1 the USBmodenfd121 (Lanbox). So I don't use and Enttec device. I am using Isa 1.3.1 f06 by the way.
Any other suggestions? -
Even though you don't seem to have a license for version 2 you should download 2.0.5, the are lots of bug fixes also for 1.x license holders.
http://troikatronix.com/download/isadora-download/Try it with that version. Does that help?

Hi,
i posted several actors which communicate to the Lanbox over TCPIP, you'll find the discussions if you look for my name in the forum. Here is a link to the updated actors, which work stable in Isadora V2. I used them in several projects, maybe you want to try them. You find actors to connect to the Lanbox, channel faders, read data from the Lanbox, and many more functions. There is an actor which extends the Lanbox funtionality, a Scene Fader actor.
Here is the link to the actor folder: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6Yq29kAcfcVfnJZZldDSFNoTzYzRE9mRnBVbFJWNlcwQTlxS3ZvSW5GQnpScVk5amxVQjA&usp=sharing
You'll also find a patch in the forum which uses these actors for a Lanbox remote control vis OSC.
Best, Gunther
