Cursor placement
-
Sometimes I "lose" the cursor during a performance...How can I cause the cursor to appear at a position (x,y) on my laptop screen when I press the X key?
Thanks. -

came up with a better way.
Using robot class in Processing you can move the mouse around, so here is an app built in processing that will recieve an osc message and move the mouse to the co-ordinates sent.Have included an isadora file that sends the right message. -
I used to use this wen VJing in a dark club - bot sue if it still works on 10.8/10.9 mac OS though....

i made good experiences with a wacom tablet, mapping the mouse area only to the control screen
it is a hardware only solution but this way you can be sure to never push your cursor in the pictureand with a pen you can pick your buttons quite precisely (like the old cad stations did it, a printout of your control screen attached to the tablet…
