Isadora and Windows 10
-
I did a search and did not find if you have touched on how Windows 10 might affect the operation of Isadora, if at all. I am happily running Windows 7, but just received notification about the download of Windows 10 on July 29th. I figure that I will put off upgrading for as long as possible as I am putting together a show that will open just after that.

I am a windows insider and have tested isadora with windows 10 for 6 months. It works great. The only bug i've had is with a 4k display, i could not have full screen in isadora, the stage filled only a quarter of the display. Otherwise i've worked with full hd camera input, 4 external hd output without any problem. I think you can upgrade with no risk...you won't be lost as you could be with windows 8 ;)

Dear Ioio,
Thanks for this report. Very good to know that it works well in general. I'll take a look at the 4K problem once I get caught up on other tasks.Best Wishes,Mark -
I just did the upgrade and Isadora reverted to demo mode as it said that my machine ID changed. So, I did need to re-register my license. Other than that, I'll let you know if there are any other changes.

That is probably to be expected. (I haven't tried this myself yet.)And, for the record, it's because of situations like that we allow you to register up to three times per year.Best Wishes,Mark -
That's a good thing. I finally switched back to Windows 7 because some of my other programs were not working as expected.

Interesting. .. could you give an idea as to what is not working for you in w10?
