Swithing video between 2 stages

Hi everyone,
i am just geeting into working with different stages. I want to switch my video between two stages with the router, but in stage 1 there always stays a kind of freeze-frame when I switch the videooutout to stage 2. Trying to set stage 1 active to off or intensity to 0 doesnt help. I just want it to be a blank stage instead. I out an attachment of my test-file.

I tested your patch and it seems fine here. What OS and what Izzy version are you using?
By the way, you can do the same thing with only one projector, see attached image.

Hi Michel,
thanks for your fast reply. Unfortunately it makes the same thing. See my video....
In my testfile from before I took two projectores because I want to switch fast between the to stages and have different footage in the two stages.

I am on windows and Isadora 2.1

your patch works fine for me. windows 8. isa 2.1. what codec are you using?

I am using foto-JPG-Movs. I am also on windows 8.

I don't have any problem with the patch either. (win 10, izzy 2.1)

What type of video card does your machine have?

I have a NVIDIA geforce GT 640M

I had the same card on my previous machine, and it worked great, so I don't think that is the issue.

Perhaps, deleting your preferences and trying again. (maybe you changed some video settings?)

I deleted the isadora preferences, but but it didnt help. I also played around with the videosettings after that, but nothing improved the situation.

this is a wild guess.. but try switching your actor processing mode (in the 'file' menu).

It seems to be already set to 2, so set it to 1 and test the file..

Then switch it back to v2

Let me know if this has any effect.

I just tried it. Unfortunately there is no differnce in both modes. Not in 1, and not when switching back to 2.

I tried the file on my slow Ultrabook, and it works fine. So there has to be something with my grafic card. But to be honest, no ides waht it could be, or if it there could just be some setting..??

Its weird.. I had a 640m, and it worked great for me.

Did you say that with V2 everything runs correctly? and with 2.1 not?

Does your system have an integrated video card as well?

I tried it now with version 2, but its the same. Stage 1 stays freezed when I switch to stage 2. I dont have a integrated video card.

I don't know... I'm just pitching things to try now.
But perhaps uninstalling all nvidia drivers, and rebooting with the default VGA driver. Then installing the latest Nvidia driver will bump it into shape.

thanks for all your ideas. I just did the hole process, nothing helped. I uninstalled the nvidia drivers-> stage- test negative. I reinstalled the latest drivers, the same ->

I just wanted to let you kow that I found a workaround for my problem:
A soon as I switch to stage two, normally I have the freezed image in stage one. Now I have a second projectot that plays a blank black movie at that moment in stage one. That seems to overwrite the freezed image of stage one.
