Automator to click OK on Demo Mode warning.
-
I've been using the SetIsadoraFrontMost Automator script to have Izzy start full screen when powering up, but since I'm leaving the MacMini in a gallery installation, I would rather not leave my USB key, so necessarily I'd like to run in Demo Mode.
I've tried using the the Watch Me Do command in Automator, and then it seems ok, but every time I run it as a Startup Item, I get an error that says Watch Me Do encountered an error, and it doesn't follow through.Any help is appreciated. -
For installations it is best using the none USB version, the "Isadora will operate in demo mode" pop up will not appear.

But it's not my computer, so this is the reason I have a USB key. So I can edit then leave it.

You can install both versions, use the USB version to edit and the none USB version for the automatically start up.

Ok thanks. I'll try that.

and make sure you set the computer to open Isadora files with the none USB versions, select the Isadora file click cmd+I and set the always open with to the none USB version and set change all. If you want to open it to edit you have to click right click open with.

@Michel @lpearse - thankyou! currently having this issue also for our degree show at Man Met Uni. I have 2.2.2 usb installed on the macs. I will install the std version now. Could theere not be a work around for the usb version - perhaps the pop up could be turned off for the 'Read Only' format? It doesn't make sense to have this pop up when the file itself is a non-editable exhibition format.

@Videosmith
That sounds like a reasonable/good idea.
Perhaps posting the idea to the Feature requests topic would be best.
