Jump between scenes but only crossfade audio not the video
-
I have video files (HapQ with no audio embedded) and a separate WAV file running in each scene.
I'm wanting to avoid the audio click that happens when I use the Jump++ actor. I tried using a fade in and out on the Jump actor and the sound is ok. But I don't want the videos to crossfade.I want the video to cut and the audio to fade slightly so that I avoid the click. Is there a way to do this? (I've already tried using a 0.1 fade in/out on the Jump ++ actor) -
Hello,
Personally, if i want a perfect controllable change in video and audio, I don' use jump. I prefer to use proper mixer for video and enveloppe acting on volume for audio. No click and easier to manage.I use jump only between very different scene.jacques -
so do you create these transitions/mixer all in one scene?
-
yes, but not all

I'm trying to have a chain of 10 videos play (one after the other) like a traditional timeline. The whole film is 20min so I though it would be sensible to cut it up into 10x2min HapQ files to save up on memory -
If it never changes play one file.

You don't save memory, it does not make a difference if playing one large file or if you devide them into two files.
