So I am wanting to make my patches more integrated into a theatre environment, especially the simpler super reliable ones. To do this I want to implement DMX input control for my patches (on windows and mac).

I have used the entecc for DMX output with great success but I cannot quite work out how I can get it going.
Also for these patches I would love to have the start serial port triggerable from a scene, at the moment I have to ask operators to manually select and start the serial output, it would be much more convenient to have this started automatically.
      Cheers

Quick and dirty hack to get through the enable serial ports or other non triggerable menu items needs osx and osculator, osculator runs an apple script when it gets the osc. 6b93ca-enable-serial-ports-on-enter-scene.zip
