Midi going to Sleep?
-
Maybe App Nap is active for Isadora. Select your Isadora.app icon hit cmd+i and check if the box "deactivate App Nap" is checked.Best Michel -
That wasn't checked, so it is now. Although, I was able to trigger things manually via a secondary path. Is there anything on the Mac OS side that could cause this?
-
Well if it was not checked and you checked the box now, that would be on the mac side. Did it help?Best Michel -
That didn't change anything that I could tell.
But it happened again this morning. This time I unplugged the USB extender which made the MOTU and Midi Solutions boxes reboot. Even though they looked like they where sending the midi info, maybe they weren't.When it came up it was working again. So it could be the either the USB extension side or the midi boxes that somehow stops sending info. Not sure yet. -
I think this is it.
I replaced a MOTU Midi Express 128 (Older Model) with a new MOTU Micro Lite, and the problem hasn't happened again. So far. -
Still happens, less often though.

sounds like a usb issue..
Try to connect thru a powered usb hub. -
@Michel sounds like on every new Isadora beta one has to check the thing about App nap. Completely forgot about that one

I put a keyboard encoder on the other end of the USB extender and that seems to keep things awake so far.
