      I have to transpose for tonight a show that was made using a max patch based app because I have major problems with the patch.
      I have to control 4 shutters from Isadora using an Enttec, which I have never done. I downloaded a user actor demo on the site and adapted it but it doesn't work. I have setup the serial communication, without any kind of handshake. The DMX Pro seems to be recognised (at least it isn't marked as offline). I attach a slim version of the project with only the shutter part

        Well I did not check every thing but the most obvious is that the "Enttec Send" scene always has to be active. See the example attached.

          That is the case. In the original file, the init status is done with the space bar but that caused a conflict with the go triiger space bar command, that's why I replaced it with letter 'a'. I'm going to try another enttec box...

            Can't open your attached file, 'newer version' message... You did it with 2.5 ? If that's the case, is it still in beta or release version ?

              Are you certain that the DMX Pro is properly communicating with Isadora?

              I use DMX Pro a lot. My patches are based on the same Demo Actor that you use. When I open my patches and the DMX pro is not attached Isadora gives me a warning message. When I open your patch, I don't get that warning.

              You can test the DMX Pro Enntec box using the Enntec Pro Manager utility from the Enntec website. At least that will help you troubleshoot and find out if the problem is with the DMX Pro or with the communication between Isadora and the DMX Pro.

              I am on Windows and I suspect you are on a Mac, so there is only so much help I can be regarding the communication between Isadora and the Enntec DMX Pro.

                  @Stephane_Morisse

                  Sorry, yes I did save it with the newest beta. But glad you found the culprit.

                    Michel, I guess you didn't get the warning because I hadn't activated the serial communication when I saved this example ? (that's a question).

                      Yes if the serial communication isn't activated and the file saved the warning does not appear.
