Isadora crashing with Blackmagic Ultra box

Hey all! First time posting, so apologies if this is in the wrong section. I'm working on a show now that is using live feed from a little pinhole camera. Right now my setup is SDI from the camera into a DVI-RCA breakout plugged into a BlackMagic design ultra (express, I believe) box. The box is hooked up to my mac tower with a thunderbolt cable. The issue is: whenever I try to open Isadora with this all plugged in, it crashes before it even opens. I have the black magic desktop video utility open as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
